Thanks xinchavoc.... I was sure of the last two males and the second female but I am curious on the first one.. Could you enlighten me on what to look for....?

I think you are right about the sal that you labeled as female. I'm not a 100% sure about the male though. Do you have any other photos of him/her? Also, yes that looks like a FM to me.

Thanks for the reply Chuck... i will see if i can click some pics when i get home.... yea with the reply of the other thread the Sal female blotch on the fins and gill plates pretty much confirms it....

and the FM i am asking somebody to sex it for me... i am aware of what they are :)

My bad on the FM, I thought you were trying to verify that it was not another type of Thorichthys. FMs are kind of hard to sex as near as I can tell. The males sometimes have a bit of a nauchal hump and longer streamers on their fins. If I had to take a guess at yours I would say female. That is just a wild guess though.

Good luck sexing that FM w/o venting

My guess is as good as yours Dart....

Thanks chief.... venting is an option but i might let that pass for now... was thinking of getting a FM.. thought it would be easier to get a male or female if i knew the sex of what i have... i guess i might just get few and have them pair up...

well then i am down to my severum now... anybody?
