So Friday I picked up some neon tetras and they are all living and have a " neon blue" streak. I picked up some more from at different lfs today and I just noticed they have a more green blue streak. Is this the begining of neon tetra disease or is it just genetics? They all seem fine, they ate, and are schooling with the others.... Please help is this nothing or is it serious?

I've seen neons with both the colors you described, but never assumed anything was wrong. I just thought it was genetics........

Most likely genetics as previously stated.

Ok thankyou do you think the new ones will color up a little after a couple of days in the tank?

They should be good by then. You might just have a different strain of tetras that look a bit different than the others. They may never look the same.
