strange, maybe it ate a lot? i have seen on my rays sometimes the food will go to one side..

did something maybe bight him?>
no when it eats its a different lump its very wierd i think its full of air

I had to once pop an air bubble in my large male frontosa. It had bloat I think and had an air pocket that looks just like your rays. I took a piecing needle that is hollow and bearly push and air bubbles started to float out. two weeks later he started to swim better. Not sure if you could do it with a ray though?

so are we thinking because he hangs near the bubble wall, his some how swollowd air?

wont he just pass it? is it getting bigger and bigger?

First thing i would turn that bubble wall OFF. Leave it for like a few weeks. see if it reduces in any size.

its good to have extra dissolved oxygen, but most of the transfer happens on the water/air surface. So if you have a spray bar or something that brakes the water tension on the surface you will be fine for now (i dont know how stocked your tank is, but you need to figure out if it will reduce naturally first).

no its not swallowing the air I think my front actually had a swim bladder infection or something. He did go to the top of the water and it looked like he swallowed air, but I not 100% sure

hmm i got no idea......

Intestinal blockage?
