Hey there, i know the only way to really sex a RD is by venting. ive looked all over the sexing the RD threads but cant seem to find a picture explaining how to tell the difference, if anyone could tell me or point me into the right direction that would be sweet

i believe the males vent when protruding will be more pointed while a females has a much flatter tip, also males will tend to have longer and more pointed fins with a larger, more pronounced nuchal hump, maybe post some pics here? just a thought
the vents are located on the underside of the fish between the pelvic and the anal fins. for females the vent is used for laying eggs which is why it does not come to more of a point as the males does, and the males is for releasing sperm
