Long story short.... After doing water change in my tank i noticed Lilo tiny tiny tiny white worms floating around in my tank... They (the Lilo tiny tiny tiny white worms) look to b not good to me... My question is are they harmful in any ways to my tank n fish stock.... Bc I'm planning on using water from this tank to start a newer tank... Please help me.... Thanks in advance...

My stock is mono pb... They in a 20 long atm n gonna upgrade to 40b soon... So i need to know if the Lilo tiny tiny tiny white worm is go or no n how to get rid of them....

I dont remember what they are called, but if they are the ones im thinking of they are harmless. I see them in my tank from time to time. They look like wiggling pieces of thread, very small. Young convicts like them.

There harmless to your fish but really annoying to look at , I get them often in my main tank it comes from overfeeding just up you w/cs for a while a feed less they'll gradually go over time , I too notice a big bloom of them during w/cs it really annoys me as its an eye sore on my tank :(

They are harmless and will likely always be in your tank. They multiply when a food source is available, usually from overfeeding and most active during waterchanges. They should be very small and many small fish love to eat them like bettas and tetras. The best way to get rid of most of them is through cleaning of substrate and feed less and make sure your fish eat all the food.

If they are what im thinking, they will be very small, skinny, and move by spastically zig zagging
