Hey Riskee, is he swimming down on the bottom or lying on the bottom of the tank.. ? or maybe up top kinda floating.. ? I had two convicts with bloat at one time.. and this is the way they acted, mostly lying on the bottom except when it was feeding time they swam around just fine..

hey fishmamma how u been hes swims upside down sidways and sometimes at the bottom

thanks alot but im not sure what to do now its geting worse

Swim bladder disease can be caused by a number of different things... so unless you identify the cause of the problem there's not much you can do.

Post your water parameters, tank size, tank mates, any other symptoms, what do you feed him and how often, is he eating and pooping normally? what's the color of his feces and anything else you can think of that could help identifying the cause of the problem

its a short body texas i think becuse of his diet he eats but hasnt pooped and his in a 60 gal with filteration that can filter a 180 gal tank ders a few bichirs i his tank no other cichlids or anything that can hurt him

Good luck.
