Need Help! My wierd silver arowana

Hi Everyone!!
Challenge myself to the next level of fish keeping.
Just brought myself a silver arowana from a breeding farm a few weeks back.
But have a really huge problem.
It keep on Swimming like a snake toward my aquarium glass and sometimes smashing his mouth towards my aquarium glass.
What did I done wrong here??
I miss the way he act when he at the breeding farm that I brought him from...

Arowana's can be easily spooked , so slowly approach aquarium until Aro gets settled down. Add floating plants to make him feel comfortable. Btw welcome to MFK

Really appreciate much.
But I have tried many ways.
Same things happen.
Maybe patience is the key??
I just don't know..

Now in a 3ft tank for his growing stage from juvenile to adult.
Is it too small??

3 foot is pretty small. How big is the arowana? An arowana should be put at a minimum of 200 gallon tank at 16"+
