hi there
i just picked up a 10" or so indo dat for a really good price. $75 is good for that isnt it?
anyway its my first time keeping a dat, its in a 150 gallon with a green severum amost as big as it is.
can you guys give me advice on water, food, and just keeping it healthy if theres anything special i need to know.

also will it eat my clowns? i have 11 and they do hide behind my big driftwood pile...
thanks in advance!

Thats an excellent price for a ten inch indo especially where you live since others have said that fish are so expensive there so congrats. The clowns may be in danger if they are on the small side so just keep him well fed if you dont have the option of moving them, what is the dat eating is it off of live foods?Just keep your water clean with good filtration and it should be fine.

Never heard of dew worms but some get their dats onto Massivor pellets, good luck and get some pics.

Thats a steal in canadian money. Just remember if the dat eats the clowns it could kill him. Remember this rule if it looks small enough to fit in the dats mouth then you probably need to seperate. Dats won't bother a fish if i thinks it can't eat it.

thanks. ive notcied he's not really interested in them but he has now taken over the tank. keeping my severum to the top and side. i wil lmost likely get rid of the severum anyways.
he's also kind of keeping the clowns in the wood pile, not going to eat them but when they coem out...maybe hes curious.
also he's not eating yet. i threw some worms in and he goes up real close then swims away. i'll maybe try blood worm chunks, and/or krill....

Yeah sometimes dats are picky. Find out what he was eating. I bet he'll eat a gold fish...lol They always will. If you end up getting more dats make sure you get 2 more or more then that cause of the fighting thats will come about.

hello guys, i am also new to tigers. my 1 and only siamese tiger measuring 3-4in is aggressive towards to its other tankmates. my question is how can i lessen its aggressiveness? do i need to add another tiger? btw his tankmates are 8in red arowana, 2 6in motoro, 4 clowns. it is kinda odd seeing my arowana and other fishes being chased and bullied by this little fella . thanks
