hi all i got my first p'bass today it is around 7 inches long. I have tryed to feed it some feeders but i have had no success so far im just wondering what i should do the old owner said he feed it arrowana sticks and a mix of other foods should i just give it time to see if it will eat the live feeders any help will be appreciated. ok then thx for that i left some feeders in over night and one is missing now i heard a loud hit from the tank. Yeh that was my plan to try and keep it on the arrow sticks because its cheaper and healthier than feeders. thx for the help all
Def keep to stix. i had peacocks on feeders, got them to finally eat pellets. They have never looked better!
ya give him time to settle in, it best to only feed feeder every now and then, bc once they get hook on them there hard to get off. try earthworms, mealworms, or wax worms, these seem to help me get new pbass to eat. prob bc its sits at bottom wiggleing and its just to tempting not to eat. but ya he is prob jusy streesed so dont worrie yet but try some worms.
ok he has not taken the pellets yet but I have got him to eat 2 white bait cut in half today but he will only eat the side with the tail on it he has also ate some little cichlids I think becuase they have gone missing lol ok I have been trying every night to get him to eat slowly he is eating more I will have to try and get some worms then and give it ago if it gets bad thx every for the help
