Omg my albino bichir has jumped out of the tank
Now its all red in colour and i've seperated it into a smaller tank with anti biotics
it now is upside down
and it seems dead
But it struggles once in a few mins
wat shd i do
its prolly abt 12hrs outta the water
 
maybe add some melafix and salt to the water. it will help with the slime coat and any external injuries. if it hit the ground hard enough it probably has internal injuries. good luck
 
it didn't really fall from a height
i've already added antichlorine to the water and salt(normal dosage)
shd i increase the salt?
it looks pretty dead now
but still struggles
 
Turn the lights low and be patient. Bichirs have lungs so a trip out of the tank, will be survived sometimes....12 hours is sooo long though and it will not be a miracle but close to it. Seal your tank up tight with all of your fish to avoid this situation in the future....Good luck...Keep us posted every few minutes for a while if you would I will keep an eye on this...

thanks man i'd keep you updated every few minutes
now i've added the air pump to it's private tank
and he's still upside down and struggles every now and then
 
You are doing the right thing just relax and don't stress out/ If he does not make it just know you gave it your best and luckily caught it before it was out too long. My lobster got out a few years ago and it broke my heart. I was stepping over him all morning but it was winter and dark. When I turned the light on, tears welled up in my eyes. Good for you and I hope like heck your fishy makes it...

i found him beside my bed like 3hrs after i woke up...
i was slping in my mom's room last night so i didn't hear anything through the night
damn naughty bichir
when i got it it was just 5cm and thin and cute
now its like 9.5 cm and 2cm fat in 1and a half months so it breaks my heart to see him like this :(
