Alright, well I've got a lot of pbass and I intend on keeping all of them. Unfrortunately the doors of my house are very narrow and don't allow for a large tank to be brought in. So my options are to either build an indoor pond or purchase a small above ground pool.
The thing is...I have a couple of cats, they'll have their front claws out but not their rear claws and they will be able to be around the pond/pool. So my question is what do I do? I want to try and be economical here, so I'm inclined to purchase a pool but I'm worried the cats might mess with it or something. What kind of cost would I be looking at to build something in the area of 8-10' long by 4' wide, probably 24-30" tall. I'm guessing plywood frame and some type of pond liner?

I also have cats, which is why we didn't go with an intex pool. I ended up going with a concrete (cinderblock) frame with a liner. Total cost was about $4000. But that includes gravel, the extra breaker, pumps, filter media, etc. You can probably do it cheaper, but I had an RTC staring at me from a 125 that was ready to move. I didn't have a lot of time to dream up DIY.
