Need help on ID of this fish

Hey gang I bought this fish from lfs in a tank marked as mixed peacock cichlids.
He/she is almost 3 inches in length and doesn't hold still for a photo opp when its presented.
Any help with ID is appreciated.

Tbh you have to wait until it grew a bit larger and colored up if it is a male.

Your right about that, time will have to tell. There are alot of species wtih stripes similiar to this

It looks like an Aulonocara. Like A. kandeense or A. maylandi.

When purchased from a "mixed" tank it could be just about anything.
