Today i went to my lfs and bought a pair of these cichlids. I think they r some kinda vieja or paratheraps. Tell me what u think.
This is the male






and is $40 good price for the pair?

get some in-tank pics once it's settled in. my initial thought is a mayan (exCichlasoma uropthalmus) but seeing the fish in the tank once it's settled and coloration turns normal it'll be easier to tell.

Naww its not a mayan m 100% sure. They r like veija shaped. And ill get a in tank pic soon.

Don't have a clue as to what it is, but I think you should put it back in the water! Why in the world do ppl take pictures of their fish out of water? Can you please explain? (Just a noob asking a question ).
