I HAVE A 240G AND I WANT TO GROW LIVE PLANT BEKAUSE IT LOOK NICCER AND FAKE PLANT IS NO KUTTIN THE JOB BUT I HAVE FISH IN THE TANK AND I ALSO HAVE GRAVEL SOO I WORDING KAN I GROW A CETAIN PLANT BEKAUSE I DONT HAVE THE CO2 OR SUMTHIN LIKE THAT IF SOO KAN U LEAVE NAMES OF ALL THE PLANTS I KAN GROW...

Live plants require some work.

Lighting
Substrate
CO2 (don't need this for all plants)

Don't think you could keep alive much of anything with just the strip light.

Can you tell us more about the type of light and light bulb you currently have? You may be able to grow some types of Anubias & Java fern. Neither can be planted in gravel or substrate. They do best tied or attached to rock or driftwood.

Also, what species of fish do you have?

try java fern or annubias bateri. Like previous member posted, don't need to be planted, and just tied to rocks or wood. also low light tolerant and very tough and low maintenance.

All plants need co2 to photosynthesize, but not all need co2 injection.
