Guys just purchased 5" Jardini from my LFS.. actually i already felt in love with this jar since his arrival last week, but at that time i don't think i have enough space in my tank.. so i passed on it..

today i just sold some of my IT,and then in the next two weeks my 125gal would be empty..
i decide to go down to my lfs to take a look and found this jardini is still there, but his condition is not 100% perfect.. he's been kept in 6inchx3inchx3inch Betta tank for a week in the lfs..

since i have empty 20gal at the time and will have empty 125gal in 2-3weeks.. i bought this poor fella..
after i put him on my 20gal long,he hardly move and he just stay in the bottom of the tank at one spot.. he don't even look like can swim to the top,has been doing it for 2 hours.. is it because he has been kept in the betta tank for a week? how am i supposed to do? thanks guys in advance...

here's the poor fella.. i hope he can make fast recovery..

WAT>

I would stop shopping at this store on general principal.

But I would still go there to window shop and
let them know I'm spending my money with the competition..

actually i've been shopping at this LFS for years.. they really have too many stock at the time.. they almost have 70 asian aros in 1batch.. and suddenly a lot of rare exp fish coming in.. so maybe they prioritize the other expensive fish then the jar.. :( i got him only for US$15..

um, nice price.

wow... a 5inch jardini kept in 6 inch x 3 inch tank. he's lucky that you bought him off that lfs

and i also lucky to have him.. :D
saw him start to move a little..

Make sure he has good water conditions(I'm sure it's a heck of a lot better than the lfs:ROFL:). Maybe turn out the light or cover the tank with a towel to reduce his stress. He should be patrolling in no time..

Good luck,
Chris

You have to be carefull purchasing Fish in this condition.

Alot of the time stress will cause irreversable damage, it happens to stingrays alot.

Same thing happened to a little Jardini near me, it came in stressed with no signs of illness and it died days later.

I really hope he gets better.

+ The people at your LFS need SHOOTING/putting in a box 1" longer than them for a week :)
