29 gallon good to start with but probably a 55 gallon would be best so you wont have to upgrade too soon. i have one for sale if needed.

55g atleast 75 would be better. My O grew an inch a month til he got 8inches then his growth slowed down

125's are cheap on CL Ya see em in my area for around $200. You go with that and you will be happy for years!
