Need help on Stingrays and Aros

Hey, im thinking about starting a new fish tank but first i need to know a few things about any types of arowanas and freshwater stingrays...It would be great to know facts such as price, food, requirements(tank size, temp, etc.) and any other info would be great

For arowanas read this do you want an arowana?...then read this then post specific questions in the arowana forum.

Don't have any experience with rays, though I have done some research, so I'll step aside on them.

if you're just graduating to monster fish, large cichlids are a better way to go as a transition. aro's and rays need have large space requirements in terms of tank footprint. see the stickies in the aro and ray section.
