need help on this one, eyes problem

I'm so hopeless with this one, can't seem to cure the eye,
I've been separated it into a quarantine tank, I used heater and salt, and nothing have changed. It's been more than a week already,
I don't think that it is a cloudy eye, cause cloudy eye is more like a white film over the surface of the eye. But this one is more like in brown color.
It happened on the other eye as well, but less,
Do you guys have any idea?
Will this affects other bichirs if I put him with others? is it contagious?

yes indeed, I always keep an eye on the water condition, I can always bring him back to the seller, but I like this bichir already, do you think other bichirs will be affected if I mix them?

maybe a bacterial infection? worst case is that he goes blind in that eye.

Just keep doing water change and hope for the best. Maybe its just a slow healer

my endli got a red bump on the top of his head next to his eye and also has cloudy eye. i thought it was gonna take for ever to heal and i thought i might have to use some medication. i just went with the salt treatment and bump the temp up. after about 1-2 weeks the bump started to go away and now its gone all the way. try adding salt and raising the temp im sure it will help alot! good luck
