I have a male which is about 7.5 inches. I had a smaller gt, pretty sure it was a female, which was with the male for a few months. The female dident want anuthing to do with him, and stopped eating all together so i took her out and put it in a tank by itself. The other day i picked up a new female GT, she had fry at the fishstore so i got her, knowing it was a fe for sure and knowing she is ready to hav babies again. She is now in the tank with my male. What are the chances of them pairing up and being a couple? Does it take long for them to pair up?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Well, my experience with pairing up adult fish is that it's either love at first sight (pairing up immediately or in a few days), or there is a good chance that it will never happen. Haven't tried to pair up GTs tho
