MA.
I have the Fluval Ebi - 7.5 gal nano tank. lots of live plants and RCS. I want to upgrade to a canister filter. I've had the Eheim 2222 in the past(sold it) and loved it!
But now w/ a nano tank and so many choices. Eheim 2211 are impossible to find @ LFS, (at least in western MA. they are). I did find a Classi 2215, Ecco pro 2231 and Ecco pro 2234. As well as the Fluval 205 (from what I read this isn't even an option due to inferior quality parts) and the new Fluval 206 (what the 205 SHOULD have been the first time around)
I know the Classic is the end all be all of filters. I can always turn down the water flow to get slower circulation/turnover. But the Classic is harder to prime, not as easy to clean, and the most reliable (from what I read).

Eheim Ecco (pro vs. comfort) series. These have baskets, 1 w/ prefilter, and from what I read flimsy handles/primer that break often! (not quite up to Eheim standards?)

Okay then you've got the Fluval 206. (Fluval has the reputation of flimsy parts).

WHAT DO I CHOOSE????
