I have 2 mono peacock bass around 8" but one has an orangish brownish blob in his eye. He has no other damage but im not sure what it is there is still clear but it is like a small perfect circle of it in both eyes if anyone knows what it is or has any ideas as to what it could be please let me know.
I really don't want them to die

could very well be an eye injury, keep the water clean & add salt(kosher)

they are both in there with a jaguar about 6" but they have always gotten along, now both have the white in there eyes

Do you have pics? What are your water parameters? Tank maintenance schedule? Feeding and tankmates? Tank size?

they are both unfortunately in a 75g they were with the jag but i took it out, and there are 2 channel cats in there with them. I change about 40% every week the ph is around 7, i feed them goldfish i checked the ammonia today and it was a little high, but i just replaced an emperor 400 with an ac 110, and still have 1 emperor 400 on it. One of there eyes is almost cleared out now but the other one seems to have gotten worse and i am currently working on pictures.
Thanks

could be the goldfish. do you quarantine them???

i normally try to but my dad has been putting them in for me recently, he claims to have quarantined them but who knows. He said he put a fresh batch of about 2 doz in there the other day and they all croaked within minutes
