My brother inlaw just bought a 5" arowana and i think it might have some kind of deformity. Theres a hump before the top fin starts. Can anybody tell me if it is a deformity or something that will get fix in the future thank you for looking and any kind of feed back..

is there a reason why his silver arrowana so golden ? XD..
he's still young give him time .. and he's crapping so he should be fine.
as long he eat and swim..

my silver injured his top fins yesterday when iw as catching the largemouth bass , ran into the same net and he swim like a broken back.. but after a while he's okay.

Thanks guys since its the first day, will wait it out and see if it goes away. ill try to add a vid too. Its just that i never seen a silver aro thats a little bent in the middle before the top fin and he swims a little funny here and there. but it might be the GT which stressed him out and had him bumping the tank before he got moved out to a grow out tank

It does look like a deformity, but too be more assured, wait for it to be bigger to find out.

And if it is will there be a possibilty for it to get better with age or just worse
