Need help please

I went out of town for 3 days, and when i went back home this afternoon, i noticed this.

What could possibly went wrong? What caused it? How to treat it? Do i need to be worried? How long it will recover?

Tested the water parameters and all is good. The girl is still eating as usual.

Always when we go out of town! Ammonia is the only thing I can think of. I don’t have rays though, someone more experienced will chime in soon hopefully.

Usually that is caused by ammonia. Could possibly have happened from another tank mate. Some daily water changes for a few days could take care of that.

When i checked the ammonia i got 0ppm. So i dont think it is ammonia.

She is in the 665 gal tank with 9 other rays. So i take it someone did it to her?

Just on that side? Looks like someone nibbled her eye.

Yea it is only on her right eyes.

Someone attacked her. When I had my Oxydoras Niger my rays would constantly scratch itself

This is a wound most probably caused by another ray, it happens and it will clear up just fine with fresh water
