I found a 180 on CL. Poster says about a year old. Comes with lids light stand Rena canister heater rock and fish if I want them. What's a good price? He's asking $800...

Ill also add its a 175 mile round trip.

I was at my lfs earlier and was looking at a new 180g tank they setup for display right when you walk in. It was a Marineland 180, 24x76x24 for $649.99.

Yeah...I wasn't really interested in the fish. Might keep the cats and eel depending on what they actually are. But maybe I'll pass on it. I offered $600 which still seems high from what I've been told.

Lol,that won't make a dent in the gas that would be used for the trip.Seller can't prove just how old the tank is and it doesn't matter,used is used.Personally I think the price is too high just because of the travel distance,I might bite for six hundred though.

It's a buyers market these days, 500 would have been a good starting point but 600 seems reasonable depending on the shape the tank is in.

I would say 600. You are not going to find any of those things at that price at a petstore.
