i have 2 leptosoma utintas with mouth full off eggs in a 125 g tank with lots of huge rocks and hiding space and i wanna pull them out??????im also worried about them swallowing the eggs and i know that a food trap wont work because their not eating.any suggestions let me know i will appreciate it!

One, do you have fish in the tank that will eat they fry? If not you can just leave them with the parent's and they will leave them alone, and when the fry get bigger they will school with them.

I had to take one of my females out before cause she was getting picked on by another female, and she held the eggs the whole time, no problems.

Also I'm sure you know but do not try and strip them, it is very very easy to break there jaw compared to most other cichlids.

Well what I did to catch my females cause I was afraid of her swallowing the eggs is turned the lights off. Then after about 5 hours, I went with a net and flashlight and caught her no problem. She just sat there and didn't even struggele.
