Need help repairing a 225 gallon tank.

i have to replace the back plate of the tank, it cracked in half. It probably broke from bad glass drilling.

Anyway the glass thickness is 1/4'' and is pretty heavy.

i cant get the razor blade between the glass, to cut the glue. i can get some of the razor in, but it feel like the blade is gonna snap if i try to move it.

i need some suggestions on separating the glass.

Use a piano wire or similar to cut the silicone between the glass/

okay ill try to look for something like that. i hope walmart has it. i have limited stores to shop at =/

You can also look for a music store. Anywhere that sell guitar string. Sometime you can even buy the strings individually instead of in the pack. Guitar string works wonders.

If at Wal-Mart, you could try spiderwire fishing line. I hear good things.
