hey all....sorry for the newb question...been reading alot but im still not clear as to how i can set up my tank properly ....what stuff should i get as for chemical wise....need to get it set up for an rtg thnx...please no bashing as i am new it is abit hard to piece abit of info here and there thnx

no chemicals other than prime to dechlorinate
temp 26-28deg C
ph anywhere from 6.5-7.5 (stable is more important than absolute value)
make sure your tank is cycled with no ammonia or nitrite (be patient with this)
good tight lid to cover your tank to prevent rtg from jumping out
need good biological filtration as rtg produce a lot of waste as it gets bigger
regular water change and then enjoy your rtg growing!
