i have had this guy for a little over a year now i got 4 all togethor. i was hopeing to get pair out of the four but he stoped eating because he was the smallest fish in the tank and was getten beaten up. so i had to drop em in a 10 gallon since then ive got em to eat again and just droped em back in the 75g since i got it diveded hes still the smallest and the other 3 green terrors i have, im 100% sure there females. but anyways back to the topic im pretty sure its a male with the coloring on em and seems to have a slight nuchal hump. im just wanting some opionions from someone that has had a little more experience with these guys all replies are appriciated thanks.

it's a male overall to me. Plus no signs of metallic sheen at the jaw.

But if it's a female then that's one super female

thanks guys i was bumbed cuz i thought i was ganna have to order some more of em to get me a male but once i put him in the 75g under some better lighting i could fully see his colors and the difference between him and my other three females is like night and day. again thanks for the replies and some confirmation.

yes he is a little over a year i got em when he was 1.5inches he is now 2.5 inches. he didnt grow fast because he was in the 10 gallon so i could work with em better because he wouldnt eat any kind of pellets. so he had a poor diet mainly just meal worms and blood worms somtimes brine shrimp because he wouldnt eat anything else but i finally got em on so nls and hes back in the 75g so im quite excited to see how fast he will grow now

Wow. After a year of being in a ten gallon I doubt it will encourage him to grow faster. They're slow growers as is. An 1" in one year, he's either stunted from being in the 10 gallon or stunted due to poor genes.

Green terrors are notorious for their slow growth. As much as yours only gained 1" in the last year, it doesn't seem to have affected your fish adversely. It's a fine looking specimen. The eye is not too large for the body size. I'm sure it will turn out just fine.

ye he seems to be doing fine to me plus i have a female that may not even have grown an inch in the last year and shes been in the 75g the whole time. hes way less shy now and always tryen to get at the bigger fish on the other side. so im certain that he is fine and healthy.
