Needs some help guys. I got home today and did my usual waterchange. I've been doing three 15 gallon changes a week in my 55 gallon tank. I went outside and came back to the tank about 30 minutes later and my Flowerhorn is acting really strange. He is just haning out in the top corner of the tank with his nose in the corner and the top of his kok out of the water. If i go to touch him he will swim around, but then goes right back to the same spot.
He was acting like there was a water problem so I did another water change taking out 50% of the water this time, cleaned the filters, and added the usual treatment chemicals and stress coat. I also added some aquarium salt.
He has not turned pale or anything, but he is usually very active and does not mind the water changes.
I've done all I know to do, any suggestions? Please help!

What was the temp of the water u used for the change? If it was cold or too hot your fish could have stresses out. Mine did that and came down with heximita, he started acting just like yours. Check out RD's thread amour treatment, it worked for me , good luck

After posting this, i went back and did another water change and repeated the steps for my 50% change. He is acting better now. I'm not sure if he just got freaked out or what. Maybe it was because i vaccumed the gravel earlier. I will keep you guys posted if things don't continue to get better. Thanks!

He has a bacterial infection.

What sort of bacterial infection are you suggesting?

He was swiming around this morning before I left for work, but i'm still going to keep a close eye on him. I was just surprised by the sudden onset. Everything happen within an hour. I got home, he was practically jumping out of the tank to get his afternoon meal, I cleaned the tank and vaccumed the gravel, and then within 30 minutes he was acting wierd. It took him about 3 hours to start moving around the tank again and that was after two more water changes.
