My rays were always eating like pigs and in all of a sudden they didnt eat as much as they used to be this morning

I figured something definitely went wrong. Then i immediately did 75% WC. And as i observed the rays, i found small white worms roaming around the tank. I added seachem paraguard right away, in less than an hour those worms dissapeared. The paraguard was also a precaution for flukes, just in case.

Then, I changed all my filter floss. The last time i changed it was a while ago.

Hours later, i found white string poo in the tank. Now that was a sign of internal parasite.

Just now, i tried to feed em. I just wanted to see if they were still takin the food or not. i mixed their food with seachem metroplex and focus. Thankfully they all ate the food. However I gave them only half of their normal meal.

Im really confused now..i dont share equipments between tanks. I only feed them frozen foods.

What the hell was goin on in my tank??

Water parameters ok? At least rule out any issues if any at all with water quality. Could the small white worms be Planaria?

Them floating white worms are usually in a lot of tanks and harmless. Only way to get rid of those is cut down on food waste and water changes. Stringy white poop is definitely something else.... probably internal parasites

Im not sure what they are, but it might be planaria. I fed them heavy last week, perhaps the left over food encouraged them to grow?

I would still treat for internal parasites just in case, are you running a sump for filtration? Check for excessive detritus and vacuum out if needed and change filter floss and socks frequently should help with Planaria.
