I have recently begun the process of getting back into fish keeping. I have always dreamed of a large saltwater setup but have never done saltwater before. I am finishing my basement now, and am planning an in-wall, fish only aquarium with access from behind for service. So... I am ready to purchase an aquarium and sump enclosure for my build. I have found two separate sellers. One is selling a Clarity Plus Acrylic 220 gallon tank with overflows. The other is selling the filtration/sump that is around 8' long and each of the 3 filter boxes are about 2'x2'. It comes with a 1/2 HP pump. Is this enough? I know the filtration/sump seems overkill but I have the room in the service area for it and I will have plumbing there as well. I am willing to add all kinds of extras as I go along but want to know what I need to just get going with these big pieces out of the way? This looks to be a great build but I just need some expert help along the way. I will, of course, post photos as I move along with the project.
