I am building a new stand for my 6' 135 gallon tank. The one reason I am doing this is so that I can fit my 4' sump underneath of the tank (will probably be a 55 gallon). Below are some pictures I drew up of what I plan on doing. The one concern I have is the 48" gap in the front to fit the sump in. Will this be structurally sound? I will be using all 2x4 construction except for the vertical supports on the front and back (they will be 2x6). The back supports will be centered and the front will allow for easy access/removal of the sump. Take a look and let me know what you think, I am pretty sure it will be perfectly fine. Just wanna make sure!!
