I am planning to make a pond in my back yard that I would like to keep brown trout in. I would like to have this made like a pool and just install it but I am not sure what other ways I can go about making this happen. I would also like to keep it about 2/2.5 feet above the natural grade of the yard helping to keep water from my yard out and making a place to sit at the edge, any and all sugestions would be great, I just want to get as much planned out before I even think about getting started. These are the pics of my plans and the last one is my yard layout. The pic of the above view the stream layout is not necessarily the one I am going to use I have already figured that this would be about 10,000 gallons as is.

Can't really read the depths.....

Trout like it cold and clean is all I really know about them....

Sorry that pic came out blurry the depths of the main pool are in inches the deepest is 144"/12' then up to 48"/4' then the shallows are 24"/2'. the stream is 18" the upper pool is 24" the lower pool off of the stream is 30" and the side pool is 24" with 6" of sand or very fine gravel almost sand. then stepped up to 12" around the edge. These are all the planned water depths the pond walls would go 12 to 18 inches higher to prevent the fish from jumping out.
