Ok this is a quick run down of what has happened.
3months ago we had major fish tnak problems after we got it sorted our elephant nose fish came up with rather nasty white spots we treated for ick/white spot about 6 weeks with Esha Exit found no success and treated again with a 20% increase in dosage again no improvment.
We used carbon pellets added to the filter to absorb the green Esha Exit Water then tried FC+ sadly after about a month he died. Our tulip eel developed 1 white spot on each side just to the back of the head, we transferred our tulip eel but sadly he died by escaping our tank.
After 2-3months we were unsure whether or not it was Ick/White Spot but now our Aba Aba has come down with 2 spots and seems to have an itch same said for our Flying Fox but no spots.
Surely if it was Ick/White Spot it would of spread to all other fish and surely killed the infected quicker than 2months.
The spots seem to be 1-2mm in size greyish white in colour and have no exterior texture. We increased the temp to 28C and now are trying it at 30C.
Our Setup
6' W x 2' D x 2' 6" H - decor'd with bogwood and one piece of coral.
Filtered by 2 x External Aqua One CF-1200 Canisters.
2 x Airstones buired under gravel.
Gravel is very fine 1-2mm smoothed.
Lightly planted although one planted has 10-12 stems that reach 18"-24"
Fish Are
1x Mbu Puffer, 1x Dragon Goby, 1x Pictus Catfish, 2x Albino Corycats, 1x Swartzi Corycat, 1x Spotted Dora Catfish, 1x Albino Pangasius, 1x Silver/Blue Pangasius Shark, 1 x Moonlight Gourami, 1x Siamese Flying Fox, 1 xLrg Sailfin Plec, 3 x Clown Loach, 1 x Shark Cat Fish, 1 x Aba Aba, 1x Fire Eel & 2 Unknown plecs.
Does anybody have an idea Please?????
