Need Help to ID my snakehead

Hello MFKers,

I recently got a snakehead and have no idea what is it... The LFS labeled it as toman bunga which is emperor snakehead but I don't think this looks like an emperor:

I also saw toman siam - Siamese snakehead if translated and saw that they were extremely cheap and am interested to buy them... Can I keep them in groups? If so how many should I put for the minimum and how do I differentiate the gender for both snakeheads mentioned above?

Not marulius, 100% Toman banga.

Toman siam is Lucius? Normaly aggressive, should be keep in group before.

I can see what looks like an eyespot on your pic. I think it could well be a Marulius, here is a pic of my Marulius as a juvinile to compare:

hi broo.. i have 4 juvenil species like that too.. i still confuse about that? what species that, marulioides or marulius???

Both of marulioides & marulius have eyespot but brighter and claerly in marulius.
Look at fin pattern, its difference.
