i went to my lfs today and he had this trio of very good looking fish and the tag said they were maganese, but i have never seen maganese look like these , they were about 5-6 inches long with a real stout body and striped vertically with dark greay and black and the male had a kinda big square head, almost like a hump on him, i want to get them cause i really like the way they look but i'm not sure what they are,i can't find a pic anywhere like them

any help and oh yea btw they are not convicts , i know that for sure i had too many con's in the past 15 years

there's a few different variations of parachromis, so without pics it's kinda hard to say
i have been doing a search on parachromis and donn't see anything like them , any other ideas , i will get pics soon cause i think i will get them anyway, he was asking $75 for the trio but he has had them for a while so he told me today $25 for the trio since he needs the tank space
