Need help to improve colouration

I feed him hikari staple and krill.some times(coz he don't lik them) change water( 40 % )once a week, i jst want sum tips for better colouration

He is a nice looking FH. His tank looks a little small. How big is he and how big is his tank? What kind of filtration are you running? Both of these factors could be hindering his development and color.

put in a lot of light color natural gravels for the tank or add more media filters for good water. Let him adapt. keep water around 84-86
