Those look to be Etroplus suratensus (the green Chromide)
The are one of only 3 cichlid species from India.
They can reach 1ft in length, are primarily vegetarian, and as they age, prefer brackish water.
Here are some of mine.
As you can see, they will eat hair algae, I drop large clumps from my pond for them to graze.

Those are nice fish I was tempted to buy some from dave at Dave's rare aquarium fish but was worried that my polleni would fight and bully them
