Hello readers,

I am new to keep Arowana and doesn't know much about it.

Right now i have a problem with Temperature...Its showing 35 degree Celsius which is pretty much high.

I have Aquarium of 90 cm X 38 cm X 56 CM...which give me 174 liters..approx 70 gallon.

My Aquarium Ph is approx 7.2 to 7.6..Tried everything to lower the Ph but didn't worked.

Fact is cannot buy chillers because its too costly..Please suggest me something.

Initially my Arowana was not eating Pellets...Starved for 5 days then i fed live feeder fish. Again started Pellets and now eating but i think not able eat properly.

Wastes 40 to 60 percents pellets.

Help me please

Trying to force the PH to fluctuate via chemicals will cause more issues than having the 'wrong' PH. They are hardy fish, and although prefer the 7 range, can live quite happily in 7.2-.4. Your tank needs to be bare minimum of 300 gallons for a full grown silver arowana (not sure which you have as you have not provided more detail) however a 70 gallon is too small, and will also cause stress.. Did you cycle your tank for 30+ days before introducing the fish? What pellets are you trying to feed? Goldfish are not a suitable staple for them, and often carry bacteria and diseases as well. What are your other water parameters?
