Guys so I have a stingray that have not been eating well for a while, at first I thought nothing of it but today she suddenly seem thinner than usual and is breathing heavily.

She is not accepting the usual MP and I've noticed that she have bumps on her dish that might have skin peeling or similar.

Worst is she is showing signs of her disc curling.

Water perimeters are good (usual) except that nitrates is really high.

Dont have too much exp with stingrays but you may want to do a wc to lower the nitrates, after 100ppm it can affect your fishes health, causing stress etc. You might need more biological filtration but I'm sure someone with more experience can chime in and help you.

Just got back from work, going to do another 50% then dose with eiho prazi gold (praziquentel).

The curl have gotten worse but I found the reason for it, should have suspected it is parasites when she's not eating well or gaining weight, thought was the stress form the males.

Found white stringy poop when I got back.
Her breathing have gotten better tho (slightly), my highest concern is that she won't recover from the curl. I've seen stingrays recover from worst emacipation before.

Sorry to see this. Unfortunately I can't see this ray surviving now that curl has set in.
Hope I am wrong.

Even so I will be doing everything I can to get it back to health, it dont look that bad yet, she can still manipulate her disc a little bit, as in it dont stay curled or is curled very much, ti sometimes flatten out on one side for a small while.

I Have another tank that I am preparing to move her to if she survive but dont eat after this round of treatment.
