NEED HELP URGENTLY!!!

My RTG manage to jump out from a small gap and broke its rear lower fin and part of the tail but the worst thing is the rear lower part of the fin dropped off and a bit of the tail part. Whats the next step?

You mean the RTG borke the anal fin?

1. Put RTG back in water
2. add melafix
3. TLC

In a couple of weeks the tail will heal back up nicely. If the tail comes in crooked, I personally don't recommend it but you can always try cosmetic tail cutting.

aros can drop their tail like a lizard. very common. it will grow back. Right now the key is to add vitamins to the water to prevent it from growing back deformed. Just use vitachem. try to show a pic. If it's a clean break then you do nothing. If it's still dangling, you might need to do some minor surgury later after it's feeling better.

agreed ! run melafix and just leave him well alone to heal ! hes going to be stressed as hell so a little quiet time while healing will work wonders
