Need Help Which do i Get?

So im looking for max filtration, I have been doing lots of research and an getting confused on what is what now. I have a 180 gal tank with 5 6" Oscars and a 1 foot long RTC and a Foot long RTCXTSN now in know that they will need a bigger home and that will happen in a years time but for know i need a new filter. right now i have a hang on the back 100gal filter i think its an empor or penguin. and a cpr overflow box with two outlits that go in to a home made sump that houses bio balls filter pads and carbon. i want to add a canister filter because of the growing fish, which are the easyest to clean, most affortable to replace media, and works the best. thanks
 
Man..I would say its up to you on your preference, I have a 150 with 2 rena's XP4 and it runs fantastic..also I heard that the FX5 is outstanding also (it purges which is good) and the media is not expensive! My rena I get on line is cheap! I just got 3 packs of Carbon and filter pads for $20.00 plus $4.00 shipping...I say do your research!
 
FX5 if not go with an eheim classic canister.
