Hello people, i have just recently upgraded my 30 gallon to a 75 gallon and i was wondering if it will fall threw my 2nd Apartment floor or will it damage it and if the stand was even build for a 75 gallon. thank you!!

its only like 600-700 pounds should not be a problem. get 2 300 pound guys to stand together and if they dont fall through your safe

The floor SHOULD be able to hold it just fine, but there are never any guarantees with setting up larger tanks unless it's on concrete. As for your stand it looks like it's standard build for tanks that size but if you're at all concerned then add some 2x4 framing to the inside for extra strength. When I got my 110 tall I did this to my stand which was only rated for 75/90G tanks. It's been over a year and also contains 250# of sand/rock and the tank is still solid. You can see some of the framing I added on the sides and there is also one in the center of the stand too.

You should be fine. There is more to consider besides just water weight (roughly 10 lbs per gal). You will also have gravel/sand, filters (not much weight) and the stand. I had the same fears setting up my 125 gal.
