Hey

I need plans for a DIY canopy and stand for a 150 gallon bowfront

dimensions of tank are 5 x 2 x 2

I've built a stand before for a 150 gallon but that was a normal rectangle tank

Any plans or pic's are helpful.

I looked alot on MK but can't find anything specific to a 150 bowfront.

If it were me I would use a sheet of plywood and trace the tank frame on it to get the curvature of the tank going first. then decide if you want the look of exact fit, exact fit with a trim around the frame or oversized with a bit of a lip around it. I would do this on the top and bottom and then do a 2x4 frame inside. The sides are easy to cover because they have no curvature to worry about, the front could be done with multiple narrow strips in the vertical position to create the curve or to use a very thin sheet of ply and follow the curve of the top and bottom you have already outlined.

Look at pictures of bow front stands for ideas and remember whatever you build will be better than store bought!
