i am not sure what is wrong with him, he was fine earlier, now he isnt really swimming and didnt even try to get away when i netted him to seperate him into another tank of his own, he is just sitting at the bottom not really moving and his colors dont look too good, but there is no other obvious signs of distress, what would you suggest? thanks

water perameters are as follows, ammonia 0 ---- nitrite 0 ------- nitrate @40 -----ph 7.8 -------- temp 82, any suggestions

nobody has had a sick fish, one that shows no sign other than crappy colors and lazy, are there any general additives i can use?

there were three little guys in there, one bigger than the other two and he is very aggressive and chases the little ones anytime they come out, could this be stressing the small ones to the point where they would just hide in the top corner and not even try to fight me when i netted him, if so i guess i should pull the other little one out, he is still swimming around but his colors are starting to look crappy with bars as well?

I'd remove the bully. Bullied fish will at some point starve themselves to death when stressed severely.

Try adding a little aquarium salt. Also a little healthy feeder to get him going.

sick one has been moved to a hospital tank, temp raised and salt added, the other little guy is still acting as he always did, just colors dont look good, but he is still swimming around so i will keep an eye on him, lets hope for the best
