So I bought a 240gallon acrylic tank 8×2×2 that has a few minor imperfections. I did my research and homework and decided to finally tackle this project. I went to Home Depot bought 400, 800, 1000 and 2000 grit 3M wet/dry sandpaper and a hand held manual sander to attach the sandpaper to. I then went to "The Container Store" and bought Novus 1, 2 and 3 (8oz bottles came out to less than $20 for all 3) and a bag of lint free rags. I decided to do only half of the front panel to see if I could see the difference after I finished. So I used the started sanding starting with the 400 ending with the 2000 grit. I made sure the sanding surface stayed wet and I wiped the tank between moving on to the next grit. After completing the sanding I used the Novus starting with #3 ending with #1. After stepping back to check out my work I noticed something. The minor scratches were gone but the side of the tank that I worked on was very hazy and cloudy and it wasn't like that before. What did I do wrong or what steps did I miss. The side of the tank that I didn't work on still has the minor scratches but the acrylic is very clear. Need some advice on what to do
