WANT SOME GOOD AIR PUMED INTO TANK
NOT SUR WAHT KIND OF AIR PUMP TO GO WITH
I TRIED A OLD ELITE PUMP,NOT ENOUGH
NEED SOME GOOD POWER TO RUN A BUNCH OF AIR STONES

Get on eBay and look for hydroponic air pumps. I bought one for a gardening project that ran 18 6" air stones with avengance. You can get smaller ones for like $35 shipped. They are absolutely the way to go. They are an actual piston instead of some dopey rubber things. Here's a link:

Does anyone know if these piston type pumps need an air filter on them? I'm curious if any lube might contaminate the air for the fish.

OP needs to consider if drawing 41 watts of power is acceptable, and how quiet are these pumps if he plans to put them in a living space. May want to look into something like this: http://www.kensfish.com/aquarium-supplies/air-pumps/fluval-q2-air-pump.html

Try the whisper , forgot if the model number is call ap300 , pretty quite to me
