I need help from the experts out there! I picked up three Amph Chancho which I am very excited about but need help determining sex. I tried to get a picture of each with and without flash but if they are not sufficient please say so. I will post a reply to this for each fish to keep things organized. I want to thank in advance anyone who takes the time to chime in, I appreciate it.

Here is fish 1.

I am no expert but I am trying to learn to do this... I would guess 2 females and a male.. I got a pair around that size. Great fish. Male is a beast..

Very easy to sex and young as well. I don't know by vent but if you take some in tank shots. Females get black in the dorsal.

Last one is a female. First two are my Male.

I could notice the black blotch in the female at about 2 to 3 inch. Funny I thought she was a he because she was the most dominant of the 6 killing two before I pulled her. They are amazing you will really enjoy them

So the black in the dorsal is more reliable than venting? You guessed 2 females and a male.. which are which? If I had to guess I would say 1 and 2 are boys with 3 being a girl.

I didn't guess, I was referring to my pics for comparison.
Male will have no black blotch at all.

If you have 3 put them in one tank all divided and you will see females black blotch if you have female.

all 3 are females to me .

And your's are green. I heard Chanchos are green. but all 3 are females.
