no where
i want to add one more cichlid to my 29 gallon but the only cichlids i can get around here are the common ones... so will 1 yellow lab work??

3 TBs
1 ram
1 angel
6 groumies
3 corys
1 usdcatfish
1 sengel bichir
1 female betta
1 GS PUFFER

tank is 18 inche high, 12.5 inche wide, 30 inches long

so if not a YL then can i add a balvinan ram or blue ram?? or possibly another angel maybe?? if not then can i up the TB school to 6 and the corys to 6 and the usdcatfish to 3???

all your fish would die :-).

Another Angel, you were already given advice not to buy one.

Personally I think you're already overstocked with the 4 additional Gourami's that magically appeared in your tank. Yellow Labs are Rift Lake Africans, I highly recommend against it, but you've got enough fish in there anyway, surely.

And that's why no one gives help anymore. :(

dont get a yellow labid
i would get rid of the GSP asap as well as he will outgrow your tank a bunch and pick up a mean streak

No a yellow lab wouldn't work at all they can be kinda aggressive and they are african they don't like the same water as the fish you all ready have(except the bichirs but they can get picked on eazily by africans ) any african cichlid wouldn't work in that tank

The tanks getting a little over stocked and don't you have 2 senegals ? if you really wan't another cichlid why not get anouther ram or if you can find other dwarf cichlids mabye get one of them depending on what you can find some dwarfs wouldn't work we'll in that tank

I agree I'd get some type of aspisto or maybe kribs, they are cheap pretty hardy from my expeirience and have their own little attitude and during mating they can be very pretty.

yellow labs are bred so much in neutral water now that it doesn't matter. aggression would be your only problem. that being said, I would advise against it, anyway. I would just keep some corys, rams and the bichir

Please take some advice: Instead of buying more fish, like you seem to have a habit of, save up some money for a larger tank even if you have to wait to buy it until you move out.
