Need help with ATF ID

Hi Guys,

this guy is labelled as VATF but i ve been doubting it, i kinda think its a FATF instead (per my experience keeping VATF , the body shouldnt be this slender as VATF is rounder)
I decided to brought this here since i believe you guys can help with the ID

I agree it’s a forskalhii due to the curvature of its head based on comparison photos

Yup def fatf....unfortunately there are atf that are brought in and mislabeled. Not alot of info out there besides what C Chicxulub has posted in his info posts and amongst us atf keepers. Never hurts to ask for help or info. Good luck with it. Looks great!!

Thanks everyone. Although VATF was the one i was looking for doesnt mean i won't do my best in growing this beast. Yes indeed fishtankphil a lot cases like that are happening in my country (Indonesia) .

I just found out from wikipedia though i am aware that it wiki may not be that accurate, only h. Tanzaniae does not have black adipose fin but blue instead.
After a while i can't help to keep noticing that my fish does not have a black adipose fin, its blue-greyish transparent color as in the pictures i posted.
is it possible that mine is TATF instead of FATF??

No its still fatf. Most fatfs have grey adipose fin
